HWIC-2FE

The HWIC-2FE is a 2-port, Cisco Fast Ethernet HWIC and is a singlewidth interface card that provides Cisco modular and integrated services routers with additional Layer 3 routed ports. A 1-port HWIC (HWIC-1FE) is also available. The Cisco HWIC-2FE supports a wide range of Qos, VLAN, and Ethernet features. The Fast Ethernet routed ports on the HWIC-2FE have the same characteristics and features as the onboard LAN interfaces for the integrated-services-router platforms. Along with Layer 3 connectivity, such as per-port access control lists (ACLs), routing, and IP addressing, this HWIC provides functions equivalent to those of onboard Fast Ethernet routed ports.
