The Cisco OC48/SRP-SR-B-PR are two OC48/SRP-SR-SC-B Line Cards with MATE Cable created for the Cisco 12000 routers. Backward compatible and able to interwork with Rev-A cards, a used or new surplus OC48/SRP-SR-B-PR Rev-B card allows rings of up to 128 nodes. In comparison, the Rev-A cards have a 62 node limit. A new or refurbished OC48/SRP-SR-B-PR card also incorporates a Stratum-3 oscillator for increased transmit frequency accuracy. Note: this card requires an IOS software release level of 12.0(15)S or greater.
